Shear baler specialist opens sales office in Germany

French recycling equipment manufacturer Copex has opened a subsidiary in Saarbrucken, Germany, to boost sales and support of its shear balers in German-speaking markets.

Copex specialises in the design and manufacture of hydraulic shear balers for processing ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals. Over the past 70 years, the firm has built a network of 800 customers around the world.

In recent years, Copex has achieved a decisive technological advance by renewing its entire range of shear balers. From the Lidex static scrap shears, featuring side compression, to the Reflex mobile baler shears and the latest S-WING model of shears with pre-compression by wings, the company now offers a wide range of machineries ‘to cover all applications’.

Effective support

‘We are proud that our innovative technical and operational solutions are keeping pace with the development of the recycling sector,’ says Copex ceo Frédéric Malin. ‘Our latest generation of machines is particularly suited to the requirements of the German market.’ In addition, Malin adds, it is important for the company to support customers using Copex equipment ‘by offering them the proximity they need’.

The German sales team comprises Fabien Reho and assistant Liliane Schutz. .

Copex will participate in the IFAT 2020 trade show in Munich (Hall B, booth 549).
