IT’S COUNTING DOWN TO IFAT 2020
Recyclers from all over the world will gather in
Munich on 4-8 May for what is claimed to be the
world’s biggest recycling technology exhibition.
So what’s new at this year’s event? One major
development, in response to demand, is that
organiser Messe München has expanded the exhi-
bition area by 10 000 m2.
It means the trade fair for water, sewage, waste
and raw materials management will span a new
record space of 270 000 m2. ‘With an additional
10 000 m2 of outdoor space, we want to take
adequate account of the importance that environ-
mental technologies have for the development of
our economy and society,’ says the show’s manag-
ing director Stefan Rummel.
