BIR MEETS ON THE SHORES OF THE
BOSPHORUS
The Bureau of International
Recycling gathers in Turkey’s big-
gest city, Istanbul, on 18-20 May.
Building on the success of the
new opening session at the world
recycling organisation’s latest
convention, this edition is putting
forward a key theme: the social
and economic benefits being created by the recy-
cling industry worldwide.
For the first time, the convention presents a
revised concept with a focus day on Wednesday,
dedicated to plastics and tyres & rubber commod-
ities. A special day rate is offered to delegates
particularly interested in these topics and wishing
to attend only these sessions.
The latest in shredding, sorting, screening and
material handling solutions will be spotlighted in a
dedicated exhibition area which BIR says offers
great potential for networking and business.
