The US Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) returns to the Mandalay Bay Hotel &
Casino in Las Vegas on 25-30 April for its yearly convention and exposition. As always, this
year’s event will see several hundred exhibitors promoting equipment, products and servic-
es specific to the recycling industry.
The convention is geared towards providing recyclers with an overview of the current eco-
nomic landscape and also with the knowledge to build long-term suc-
cess.
There will be general sessions, spotlight programmes and workshops
focusing on a broad range of industry topics, including market updates
relating to ferrous, aluminium, copper, lead, zinc, nickel and stainless
steel scrap, as well as electronics, plastics and recovered paper.
Recycling International will be on the ISRI floor – so please come and
visit us.

The latest trends and best practices in sensor-based sorting technology
will take centre stage at the much-anticipated bi-annual conference in the
German city of Aachen on 17-18 March.
The two-day event will bring together recyclers, engineers, academics and
other industry experts from around the globe. Topics to be discussed
include: advancements in multi-sensors; improvements in single-particle
detection; new methods of data processing and particle analysis; applica-
tions of sensor systems for online monitoring and process control; and
optimisation of periphery processes.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to discuss cutting-edge technologies
at a networking dinner in the historical ballroom of Aachen’s Altes
Kurhaus.
