The German engineering company Lindemann was founded in 1913 by Waldemar Lindemann. Ten years later, it delivered
the world‘s first scrap press. Shredders and shears followed suit. The company quickly built an excellent reputation at
home and internationally: Lindemann machines were considered durable, high-quality and high-performance units.
In 2001 the company became part of Metso Outotec Group. Now LINDEMANN makes a comeback:
The metal recycling business centred around the brands LINDEMANN and TEXAS SHREDDER becomes an independent
company, Lindemann Germany GmbH. It will focus on and drive the three core values endorsed by its founder:
quality, performance and innovation.
