What started in 1959 as a small shop has grown into a big business: Bunting Magnetics, the US specialist in design, manufacture and sales of magnetic equipment for scrap metal separation, is celebrating its 60th anniversary.
‘It’s very exciting that we’ve been able to achieve 60 years in business as a private, family owned company,’ says the firm’s president Bob Bunting. ‘It speaks very well to the dedication of our employees and the Bunting family as a whole.’
Worldwide presence
Headquartered in Newton, Kansas, Bunting Magnetics has production and distribution facilities on the US East Coast, in the Midwest as well as on two locations in the UK. This strong presence both at home and abroad has allowed the company to reach a wide range of customers and gain a reputation as a ‘global magnetic force’. A product well known among metal recyclers is its Stainless Steel Separation Conveyor, designed to sort out magnetised particles of stainless steel scrap, delivering ‘higher purity’ of metals.
New future, new chances
Bunting Magnetics aims to expand its global reach in the field of magnetic innovation, it says in a press release. The company thanks employees and customers for their hard work, support and trust throughout its 60 years of success and anticipates ‘many more years of continued success and growth’ in the future.
