Domestic expansion for GDE

France – Recycling firm Guillet SARL, based at Veurey near Grenoble in France, has become the latest acquisition for GDE Recyclage – one of the country’s largest scrap metal processors.

Formed some five decades ago, Guillet is engaged in scrap metal processing and demolition services; the firm employs 20 people and operates 16 collection trucks, a range of material handling vehicles and a mobile shear press.

GDE is a multi-disciplinary recycling firm which handles ferrous and non-ferrous metals as well as paper, plastics and batteries. The company currently operates six shredders in France plus what is claimed to be a unique sorting plant for the post-treatment of automotive shredder residues.
