The Sensor-Based Sorting & Control conference, which first convened in 2004, has since become a biennial event renowned for its international reach. In 2022, it brought together 132 attendees from 14 different countries. The tenth edition of this expert conference is scheduled for March 13-14, 2024, in Aachen.
Over the course of two days, industry professionals and academics will present the latest advancements and applications in automated separation and sensor-based control. These presentations will span the entire process chain, from mining to processing for primary and secondary raw materials. Discussions will focus on the progression of multi-sensors, enhancements in single particle detection, methods of data processing and particle analysis, the use of sensor systems for online monitoring and process control, and the optimization of peripheral processes.
In addition to the technical presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to network and exchange experiences at an evening event held in the historic ballroom of Altes Kurhaus. The conference is organized by the Unit of Mineral Processing (AMR) and the Department of Processing and Recycling (ANTS) at RWTH Aachen University.
