A team of Steinert experts can quickly install functioning metals separation equipment at a prospective client’s plant without even having to use existing infrastructure. Over a period of one or two days, the induction sorting system can then be tested on the site under normal working conditions.
According to Steinert’€™s Sales Manager Dr Ulrich Kohaupt, the equipment handles material coming from the customer’€™s own operations. The recyclable content of this input material ’has been completely underestimated until now,’€™ he says, ‘€˜or has been passed on to sub-contractors under non-optimised conditions because the customer did not have his own technical resources to recover it properly.’€™ Using the ISS approach, the customer receives ‘€˜a final product with a purity of up to 98% which he can sell immediately,’€™ adds Dr Kohaupt. ‘€˜This means that the company can make money as soon as it starts running experiments with the ISS.’€™
