Shredder producer’s new website features the real thing

Just in time for its 110th anniversary, Germany’s Lindemann Metal Recycling Solutions has launched a new online platform featuring interactive 360° animations of shears, balers and shredders.

The website is based on joomla, an open source content management system that has been extended by a modular front-end framework for the development of fast and complex web interfaces. The 360° animations are ‘an absolute highlight for tech fans’ says Lindemann. Website visitors can take a deep dive inside every one of the company’s machines.

‘To ensure that these and other technical gimmicks do not generate massive data volumes taking endless time to load, these interactive models have been specifically optimised for representation in the world wide web.’

Good to know: the online platform features tools enabling contact requests to be directly routed to the correct interfaces within Lindemann. The new website will be available in five languages and is continuously updated.
