Counting down to the RWM

The UK’s largest trade show for recycling and waste management, RWM, returns to the NEC Birmingham on the 11th and 12th September this year. The two-day event once again brings practically the entire sustainability and environmental industry together under one roof.

Both days boast exemplary seminar schedules delivering expert advice, live demos of pioneering new technology as well as hundreds of market leading companies coming equipped with their finest solution led products and services

A special highlight of the RWM is the Leaders of the Waste World panel debate, which is made up of the leaders of the three of the biggest waste management companies in the UK: Suezceo David Palmer-Jones, the new Biffa ceo Michael Topham and Phil Piddington, managing director of Viridor.

Eyes on smart technology

Besides, the seminar programme includes talks by Dr Annie Meier of Nasa, Tom Szaky of TerraCycle, as well as Jeremy Paxman of Clean Up Britain. This year is set to be bigger than ever with the launch of new features like the AI & Robotics Zone, the evolution of the Zero Emissions Zone, a dedicated Waste Tech Theatre, and the return of Materials World.
