A special three-way collaboration between Recycling Technology and the Solids and Pumps & Valves tradeshows will see Dortmund transform into a tech hub on 29-30 March. The overarching themes are digitalisation, sustainability and process optimisation.
Expert presentations and special routes across four different halls will inform visitors about the latest technical trends and solutions. Those attending will be updated on handling granules, powders, bulk solids and liquids. Exhibitors will answer questions on all relevant topics, from processing and reprocessing to putting raw materials back into the loop.
The two-day expo can be attended free of charge by registering here with the code 1672.
Solutions exhibited in Dortmund will cover a wide range of materials, including:
- Scrap metal
- Demolition and construction waste
- Paper and board
- Plastics
- Biomass and wood
- Glass
- Residual materials
Be sure to pay a visit to the SolutionCenter in Hall 4, where innovative machines and systems will be on show. Meanwhile, there will be explosion demonstrations in the outdoor area.
Exhibitors include well-known brands such as Barradas, Erema Engineering, Secopta Analytics, Spaleck and Siemens.

‘Against a backdrop of increasing raw material scarcity, greater environmental impact and rising energy costs, the pressure on the industry remains high,’ says exhibition manager Anna Lena Sandmann. ‘The call for more sustainable, circular and energy efficient products is getting louder and companies are being challenged to quickly lay the foundations for them.’
This message is supported by numerous lectures from pioneers in the field. R&D partners include the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences, Technical University Dortmund and RWTH Aachen University. RWTH will share its outlook on the recycling of plastics, batteries, electronic scrap and textiles.
