Remondis International has acquired Veolia’s activities in Sweden, based at 65 sites involved in the collection, processing and marketing of recycled raw materials, services and industrial cleaning.
By taking over Veolia Recycling Solutions Nordic, the company says it has strengthened its market position in Northern Europe and significantly expanded its business activities on the Swedish market. It marks the first entry into Sweden’s industrial cleaning sector.
Both parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price or further details of the transaction, which is subject to the approval of the anti-trust authorities.
