This year’s edition of the highly anticipated Pollutec trade show will take place from 27-30 November in Lyon, France. The 2018 edition of the event is a very special occasion, as it marks the expo’s 40th anniversary.

Over 2200 exhibitors and 73 000 industry professionals from 128 different countries are expected to flock to Lyon this November for the annual Pollutec trade show. Together, they will unveil 200 cutting-edge innovations relating to recycling and sustainable practices. No less than 490 tech talks and conferences are integrated into the varied four-day expo programme.

New products and solutions will be demonstrated in a total of six halls at the Lyon EuroExpo business centre. R&D specialists and universities are once again well represented.

A special ‘gastronomy evening’ and ‘speed-dating’ sessions to foster new business relations are also part of the programme.

‘Step by step, Pollutec has established itself as a true showcase of all the equipment, technologies and services for the environment and energy,’ comments event organiser Reed Expositions. It underlines that 1268 business meetings took place between key decision makers during the 2016 edition of the expo.

As such, the event is described as a ‘springboard for market innovations and a crossroads for international development opportunities to connect all those with a stake in the industry’.
