New name for Tube City IMS

United States – Tube City IMS Corporation, whose outsourced industrial services to steel mills include the design, construction and staffing of scrap handling, scrap preparation and delivery systems, has changed its corporate name to TMS International Corporation to reflect its growing global presence.

‘As we move into our tenth decade of operations, we believe TMS International better reflects the company’s integrated operations and global status,’ explains president and ceo Raymond Kalouche. ‘We will continue to focus on growing our global market position by leveraging our business expertise and exercising sound financial discipline.’

The company provides mill services at 80 customer sites in 13 countries and its global raw material procurement network spans five continents. Its new name is effective immediately and is being implemented across all of the company’s products and subsidiaries.
