How to make Europe’s recycling markets more competitive?

Europe – EuRIC, the umbrella organisation for the European recycling industries is counting down to its annual conference which will take place in Brussels on 28 March. The event aims to find answers and solutions on how to make Europe’s recycling markets more competitive.

‘This will be a unique opportunity to to learn about the latest developments shaping the European recycling industry and to expand your network’, says EuRIC’s secretary general Emmanuel Katrakis.

Sponsored by Veolia, Grupo Otua, Paprec, INRO Rohstoffhandel and by the recycling Federations BDSV, APOGER and FER, the conference will play host to ‘high-level’ EU policymakers and influential recycling industry leaders who will debate key regulatory and economic topics for the recycling sector. Recycling International is media partner of the event.

Confirmed keynote speakers include: Kestutis Sadauskas, director Director of DG ENV, Mattia Pellegrini, head of the unit resource efficiency and raw materials at the European Commission, Gary Crawford, vice president international affairs at Veolia, and Chris Slijkhuis of Austria-based recycling company Müller-Guttenbrunn.
