As electronics recycler Igneo Technologies extends its growth around the globe, the company has announced the appointment of Lars Radowitz as chief strategy officer. He joins the team with more than 20 years’ experience at copper recycler Aurubis.

‘I am honoured and excited to help carry out Igneo’s vision for the future,’ says Radowitz. ‘Igneo provides a unique value proposition for their suppliers and customers, while at the same time operating a truly sustainable solution to e-waste.’

In his most recent role as vp for raw materials recycling at Aurubis, Radowitz led both the tactical purchasing of raw material feed and market strategy globally.

‘Lars’ extensive and industry experience in is a tremendous asset to Igneo,’ comments Igneo president and ceo Danish Mir. ‘His knowledge will help propel the business forward as we grow our footprint in Europe, the United States and beyond.’

Igneo operates a metal recovery plant in Isbergues, in northern France, with an annual infeed capacity of 30 000 tonnes of e-scrap. A second facility is currently under construction in Savannah, Georgia, and will process 90 000 tonnes per year once it is in operation by early 2024.
