United States – Global leader in advanced technology for magnetic, vibratory and inspection applications, Eriez was founded 70 years ago and will be celebrating its anniversary ‘with a number of significant milestones on the horizon for 2012’, says President and CEO Tim Shuttleworth.
The year of festivities does not mean the US-based business will stand still. According to the CEO, there are ‘a number of goals well within reach’. He names in particular: a plan to continue the company’s safety record for no lost time to accidents; opening a brand new Erie Wager Road facility in the USA; and introducing another innovative product at the US Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries’ Expo in Las Vegas this April.
Operating in 80 international markets on five different continents, Mr Shuttleworth is proud of the company’s accomplishments to date. ‘To say we have come a long way since our founding in 1942 in the Merwin family basement in Erie (Pennsylvania) would be an understatement,’ he says, attributing Eriez’s progress to its hard-working team, past and present.
