Bunting beating the crisis with record sales month

United Kingdom – Despite turbulent economic times and fears over Brexit, magnetic separation specialist Bunting recorded its highest monthly sales in September, exceeding the previous peak by 10%.

‘Sales in September were approximately 35% up on our normal monthly run rate,’ confirms Bunting’s managing director Simon Ayling. ‘We experienced strong demand from existing customers and a growth in new customers. Sales of metal separation equipment into the food, plastics and recycling industries were higher than normal.’

Also according to Ayling, feedback from the company’s network of overseas representatives continues to be ‘very positive’. Another September highlight was the completion of the design and manufacturing of a high-voltage magnetising system for use in a high-performance energy generation business. This was despatched to the client for installation before the end of the year. Bunting claims to be ‘one of a small number of companies’ worldwide which is able to handle projects for magnetisers.
