BHS appoints new sales consultant for UK and Ireland

Europe – Sorting technology supplier Bulk Handling Systems (BHS) has named Steve Almond as its sales consultant for the UK and Ireland. Almond has more than 25 years of sales management experience in the solid waste and recycling industry, including more than a decade of specialisation in optical sensor technology.

As a member of the BHS team, Almond will specialise in Max-AI technology, including the Max-AI AQC, and will also represent the company’s other core separation solutions: BHS Tri-Disc screens and turnkey systems, Nihot air separators and NRT optical sorters.

‘When I saw the Max announcement and watched the video, I immediately knew that the technology was something our industry has been waiting for and something I wanted to be a part of,’ comments Almond. ‘With our industry under increased pressure to boost yield and purity, we’re fortunate to have someone of Steve’s calibre delivering the BHS solutions to meet this demand,’ adds the company’s ceo Steve Miller.
